Introduction

The Conscious Career Strategies for Women workshop of USB Executive Development (USB-ED) is an empowering and thought-provoking opportunity aimed at every woman, at any point of her career path.

What sets this intervention apart

At any stage in your career, there are at least ten career action steps from which to choose. During this workshop you will learn about these options and become truly aware of the issues affecting your career.

DINNER: MEET GUEST SPEAKER JO-ANN STRAUSS
Former Miss South Africa and astute business woman, Jo-Ann Strauss, will be the guest speaker at the evening dinner. Her topic of discussion will be on the superwoman syndrome.


Jo-Ann StraussJO-ANN STRAUSS

As a presenter on Top Billing and one of South Africa's top female MCs, Jo-Ann is in high demand as a host for prestigious events. She's a passionate campaigner for the alleviation of poverty and for the rights of all people to education, health-care and housing. Seriously opposed to apathy, child abuse, ignorance and corruption, she is well known on the charity circuit and is involved in Mzantsi-Afrika and various corporate social investment projects. Jo-Ann is a director in a Broad-based BEE venture capital company called Partnership Investments and was appointed as a director on the Western Cape Board of Ubuntu-Botho, a division of Sanlam. She is also the chairperson of the Partnership Foundation Trust which equips learners with much-needed skills for building South Africa. She holds a BComm Law degree and studying towards a MBA.

Fees include programme fees, programme material, lunch and refreshments, and are payable before the commencement of the programme.


Payment Policy

It is of utmost importance that USB-ED be formally notified in writing of cancellation 14 days prior to the commencement date of the programme.

A cancellation fee of 10% will be payable for cancelling fewer than 14 days prior to the commencement of the programme.
