Participants in USB-ED’s Management Development Programme (MDP) recently
received their certificates at a ceremony in Swaziland.
A Management Development Programme (MDP) certificate ceremony function was held in Swaziland on 30 January 2014. In her welcome address, Nonhlanhla Dlamini, country director: IDM Swaziland, encouraged the employers attending the event to expect world-class performance from those who completed the programme. USB-ED is internationally accredited and its training is of high quality, she commented.
Dr Karabo Mokobocho-Mohlakoana-Mosala, regional director: IDM Swaziland, said IDM, which is represented in Swaziland, Botswana and Lesotho, embraces all management development fields. This is also an opportunity for those who cannot afford to study outside Swaziland to receive training at home. In this regard, more role players in the private sector, government and NGOs should allow USB-ED to do training. Last year, 46 delegates received certificates for attending the Management Development Programme presented at IDM in Matsapha. This year, 63 delegates received certificates.
Jim Linskey, general manager: Africa (USB-ED), handed out the awards to the top student in each group - Zama Tsabedze, Wiseman Magagula and Lindwe Dlamini. The top teams in each group were Emahlahlandlela, Potemcia and Odyssey.
This year, USB-ED will present its Management Development Programme and Senior Management Development Programme in Swaziland. For more information, click on the links or e-mail
