The programme promotes sustainable business development through an integrated sustainability vision for governance and board processes and contributes to building governance credibility for stakeholder confidence. In doing so, the focus is on the director as person, the governance processes of boards, and board dynamics.
The content of the Africa Directors Programme (ADP) has been aligned to the IoDSA’s Director Competency Framework™. It therefore forms part of the CD(SA)® Career Path by contributing to the knowledge and skills required during the CD(SA)®assessment.
Candidates must have basic knowledge of being a director as well as board experience, and are required to send through a curriculum vitae and a reference with their application. Admission is subject to a selection process, which may include a personal interview.
